Iphone Software Downloads

Apple have continued along the lines of the Ipod, this time with the Iphone. This latest evolution of Apple technology works as a cellphone, music player, movie player and will even give you internet access. Apple have recently decreed that they will not be allowing any third party organisations produce software for the Iphone. Instead they intend to create all software themselves, and the third party guys are going to be limited to the production of peripherals. Michael Vick

An elementary student who first showed an interest in baseball and basketball, Michael Vick later developed his love of football. Born in June 1980, this Newport News, Virginia native is now the quarterback for the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons.

In his early teens, Vick became involved in football as his choice after-school activity. At that time, he seemingly gave up all other sports in order to concentrate on football. Through high school, his love of football flourished and carried over into his college years. Attending Virginia Teach, Michael Vick gained instant stardom as a collegiate player with 3 rushing touchdowns during his first game. With the help of Vick, the Virginia Tech Hokies enjoyed a phenomenal 11-0 season and secured a seat at the 2000 Bowl Championship Series. Even though they were defeated by Florida, Michael Vick led the team to an impressive comeback after being 21 points down at one point.

Cash For Clunkers Or (CARS) Buyers Must Beware

On Weds June 24th President Obama signed the much debated “Cash for Clunkers” bill which in summary allows a buyer to trade-in his/her old gas-guzzler for a new more fuel efficient ride and get up to $4,500 in a voucher toward the purchase price of this new vehicle. The program will now be known as Car Allowance Rebate System (CARS). There was opposition on all sides to this bill. The environmentalist felt the bill did not go far enough to improve fuel economy.

They pointed to the fact that one of the new vehicles that qualified was the Hummer 3. The automotive industry supporters feel that more that than the $1 billion that has been allocated is needed to jump start the car sales. This amount would allow approximately 250,000 consumers to participate in the program. Note, the original Cash for Clunkers bill had a $4 billion price tag. And of course, there are many who feel we have spent enough of the tax payers money to bail out the automotive industry. About $60 billion has been allocated so far, what is another billion.
